To place an absentee bid you authorize the auctioneer to bid on your behalf up to the limit of your bid.
He will purchase at the lowest possible price below your maximum bid. By submitting this form, you understand that Leist
Auctioneers executes absentee bids as a convenience for clients and is not responsible for
inadvertently failing to execute bids or for errors relating to execution of bids. If identical absentee
bids are left, Leist Auctioneers will give precedence to the first one received. You are
encouraged to view the item beforehand to make your appraisal of the merits of the particular item
and its value.
To avoid any confusion, in uncatalogued auction, clearly describe the article to be bid
on and preferably direct the staff member to each item. In the event your maximum bid ties with a bid
from the audience, the normal policy is to go one increment higher on your behalf to break the tie in
your favor. If you want us to do so, PLEASE INDICATE GO ONE INCREMENT HIGHER on the form
below. IF NOT, PLEASE INDICATE THIS IS MY MAXIMUM BID.
Please place your bids well in advance of the auction. Any absentee bids submitted within 12 hours of the auction start time can not be guaranteed.
Your submission of this form indicates you have read, understand and agree with the terms and
conditions of the particular sale you are interested in and of the terms and conditions of the absentee
bid you wish to make on an item in that sale with this form. Purchaser must satisfy themselves as to
condition and authenticity.
All sales final, sold as is, where is. No refunds. An applicable Buyer’s Premium of 10% will be added to each
purchase. Payment is due in full on receipt of invoice. Cash, Check, Wire Transfer, Credit Card.
Buyer is responsible for costs of shipping/transportation or freight.
Buyer is responsible to pick up item within 7 days of auction. Leist Auctioneers will not be held responsible for the item between the auction date and pickup.
